Went through an old Rogue shoot to process another photo or two since I didn't get to go to SDCC this weekend )):. Going to D23 Expo in a few weeks though, can't wait! Hopefully I'll get all my new costumes done lol.

You did a great job with the film version rogue. Somehow I'll always be loyal to the 1980's version though. encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/ima...

This isn't the film version, it's not even close to what she wears in the film. This is one of the costumes she wears in the 80's Uncanny X-Men comics. Your link doesn't work but I'm guessing you're referring to the 90's Jim Lee version which I've always found to be very unfortunately ugly.

You are correct. I just checked again. It is 90's era.

I have a strange affinity for that Rogue. Maybe that's the first one that I 'met' and thus stuck with me.

I've only seen the movies a couple times, and the costume was familiar enough, but I couldn't place it to the correct source material.

Anyway, now that I have made the proper comparisons, I feel more confident in saying this was, again, a very well done. (Aaaand you do a lot of research, which shows.)

I have a friend who likes the same Rogue as you, I'll have to ask him if it was the first version he saw as well.

The movie costumes were a bit disappointing since they were all the same black design and didn't really differ much between the characters. I understand why they did it but I still like how each character has their own in the comics and it leads to show off their personality a bit. But anyway, thanks for the compliment!

I agree (now that I've had my memory refreshed) about the costumes.  A character's clothing conveys a lot about them, which is important.
