Oops I guess you get two Rapunzel pictures in a row! Sorry, I try to mix it all up but *Floatyman just gave me photos last night and I really love them!
Here's my brunette Rapunzel from Fanime 2011, one of my new costumes made for the con! I just reused my Xianghua wig, it's not absolutely perfect for Rapunzel but it's one of my favorite wigs so I was happy to wear it again!
I’ll eventually get around to writing up how I made everything but in the mean time, if you’re curious, you can take a look at my journal where I’ve posted a few progress pictures. Those should give you an idea of how everything came along. I need to redo my sleeves, I tore through my serged French seam the first day I wore the costume haha. I’d also like to redo the middle panel of my skirt as the pattern doesn’t pop out enough but I need to check if I have enough of my dyed fabric left - I do not want to dye anything again, the amount of salt I went through was insane lol.

I'm with devippk: it has nothing to do with foot fetishes, it has to do with the character. And as someone who lives barefoot habitually, I disagree that it would be disgusting. But I get where you're coming from in general: I'd be equally annoyed if someone forced me to wear shoes as you'd be if someone forced you not to, so I can't say anything. ^.^ The cosplay is really quite lovely!
